Looking for an easy-care plant that grows quickly? Look no further than the Senecio Rowleyanus! This light-loving succulent (but not too much direct sunlight) is perfect for anyone looking for a low-maintenance, fast-growing plant.

If you look at the leaves of this special plant you will quickly see that it has earned its name Pea Plant.

Watering

This strong plant is best not to give too much water. The small roots are very sensitive to too much water, then they start to rot. This causes the leaves and stem at the top to turn brown and shrivel, the first reaction is often to give more water. However, this does not benefit the Senecio Rowleyanus. The extra water you give then certainly cannot recover the plant.

Usually, once every 1 to 2 weeks is sufficient for this succulent. The best way to water it is to put it in a bowl of water for 15 to 30 minutes, then let it drain sufficiently and then put it back in its place. Be sure to let the soil dry out between watering.

Light

Although the plant likes a lighter spot, it does not really like the afternoon sun, a spot with evening or morning sun is ideal for this cheerful plant.

Toxic

despite its name, the senecio is slightly poisonous. Not suitable for eating!

Cuttings

Would you like to propagate the Pea Plant? Then cut off a branch and place it in the ground. Over time, the cutting will naturally develop roots. Please note that this does not always work out well.
