How do you use the Ficus mix?
Using Ficus potting soil is crucial for a healthy plant. Thoroughly remove old soil and make sure the roots are clean. Place a layer of Ficus mix in the pot, add the plant and fill up with more mix. Ficus are known for their large, thick roots that need sufficient space to grow well. Our mix with extra coconut husk and perlite ensures optimal aeration and sufficient space for the roots. The addition of active carbon protects the roots against fungi and root rot, while extra sand improves permeability. All this together makes this mix the ideal choice for your Ficus!
