Small happiness? Green love? Relaxation? What does it mean to you to be busy with your plants? And what can we as plant lovers learn from each other?
Get new inspiration with this houseplant book and let your green fingers blossom with the experiences and care tips from the plant community.
Inspiring stories
For this book I went looking for inspiring stories from fellow plant lovers from the Netherlands and Belgium. Each lover shares their green adventures and personal plant care tips, surrounded by the most beautiful photos and illustrations.
New angles
More than 20 inspiring plant lovers share their knowledge and experience in this houseplant book. So expect to learn a lot, but also to recognize a lot and to discover new angles on recognizable problems. You will read about the inspiring journeys that Rogier (@rogiervanvugt, head of Horticulture at the Hortus Botanicus in Leiden) makes in search of special plants in the wild, you will get practical tips from Sabine (@styledbysabine) about decorating your home with houseplants, you will learn about hydroponics from Ans (@urbanjungling) and you will get tips from Thomas (@planttrekker) about having pets and houseplants in one house.
By plant lovers for plant lovers
Are you a plant lover? Then this book is for you. More than 700 plant lovers participated in the crowdfunding for this book, so it really is a book by plant lovers for plant lovers. I found the making of this book such a special process, because I also got to know the plant community better myself. Some plant lovers that I have been following online for years, I spoke to for the first time and got to know better through the questions I asked them. And through their answers I also gained new knowledge about the care of my plants.
After reading this, you will feel even more connected to the plant community and look at your own plant collection with new eyes!
